What are henna brows?
Henna brows are a type of tinting that stains the skin giving you tinted hairs for up to 6 weeks and a tint on the skin that can last around 2 to 3 weeks. It's a fantastic way to try out a shape before committing to Ombre brow tattooing, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled temporarily.
Henna has been around for thousands of years and has been used for hair dye, body art, and makeup. A lot of people associate henna with the colour red, but henna brows are specially formulated to give a more cool colour tone that is absolutely perfect for eyebrows.

What is Henna ?
Henna is natural plant pigment from the Hina tree. It's perfect for people with sensitive skin types or who just want their tints to last a lot longer! It’s also less intense and permanent than micro-blading. The henna comes in a range of colours, and is a vegan alternative to regular tint. While traditional tinting stains the actual hair, henna has the ability to gently stain the skin beneath—perfect for those suffering from bald patches!

Henna brows process
The first step for henna brows is all about cleansing and removing any oils from the skin. We do this by using a gentle brow shampoo that is massaged through your brows. This is to ensure that your skin is super clean and ready for the henna. After your eyebrows are shampooed, we will shape and measure the perfect brow shape for your face. The henna is applied over the brows and skin, and left to process for 20 minutes. Once its finished developing, the henna is wiped away and you will then have your brows waxed and further shaped to perfection!
After your henna treatment at Body Glow, your brows will have more shape and definition, but without the day at the beginning of a brow tint, when everyone can tell they’ve been done. There is no ‘colour shock’ as with traditional brow tinting, which can look intense for a couple days before it settles. It’s also free from “peroxide activators,” so it's a great alternative if you usually suffer from sensitive skin.
